Tervetuloa Gräshoppaan
Gräshoppa on Sirkan kylässä sijaitseva ravintola, joka syntyy rakkaudesta ruokaan, hyvistä raaka-aineista ja halusta tehdä paikka, johon on helppo tulla syömään hyvin. Meillä pohjoismainen ote, tutut klassikot ja sesongin maut kohtaavat samalla listalla.
Kesällä mukana ovat myös kevyemmät klassikot ja vuodenaikaan sopivat maut. Ajatus pysyy kuitenkin samana ympäri vuoden: hyvää ruokaa, hyviä raaka-aineita ja paikka, johon tekee mieli tulla uudelleen.
Ravintolan taustalla ovat Joonas Mantila ja Lauri Närhi, joita yhdistää pitkä kokemus keittiöistä ja yhteinen ajatus siitä, että hyvä ruoka kuuluu kaikille.
Nimi Gräshoppa tulee Sirkasta, kylästä jossa ravintolamme sijaitsee ja jossa myös itse asumme. Se tuo mukanaan paikallisen yhteyden ja oman tunnistettavan ilmeen. Gräshoppa on paikka hyvälle ruoalle, hyvälle seuralle ja pitkille illoille, ravintola, jossa rakkaus ruokaan näkyy.
Welcome to Grashoppa
Gräshoppa is a restaurant in the village of Sirkka, Levi, born from a love of food. A Nordic approach, familiar classics and seasonal flavours all come together on our menu.
In summer, the menu also includes lighter classics and flavours that suit the season. The idea stays the same throughout the year: good food, good ingredients and a place where it is easy to feel comfortable.
Behind the restaurant are Joonas Mantila and Lauri Närhi, united by years of experience in professional kitchens and a shared belief that good food should be for everyone.
The name Gräshoppa comes from Sirkka, the village where our restaurant is located and where we live our everyday lives. It gives the restaurant a strong local connection and an identity of its own. Gräshoppa is a place for good food, good company and long evenings, where a love of food is part of everything we do.
